The Scientific and Technological Park of Epirus was founded in 1999 by the University of Ioannina and the Region of Epirus. The construction and equipment of the first building was financed by the Epirus PEP 2000-2006 of the 3rd Community Support Framework and the second building/extension by the Thessaly-Sterea Hellas-Epirus OP 2007-2013 of the NSRF.
